Latina Women on FIRE, hosted by NextAdvisor
It’s no secret that women and people of color own a disproportionately small amount of wealth in the U.S. and make far less money than white men.

But a particular group of Latinas says FIRE — an acronym for “financial independence, retire early” — can change that. Money experts and investors Delyanne Barros, Jannese Torres-Rodriguez, Vanessa Menchaca-Wachtmeister, and Rita Soledad Paulino are paving the way for other women and people of color by forging their own FIRE community and sharing wealth-building strategies to help uplift others.

Join Torres-Rodriguez, Barros, Menchaca-Wachtmeister, and Soledad Paulino on March 18 for our Latina Women on FIRE webinar to hear their investing strategies and the personal decisions that drive their pursuit of financial freedom. You won’t want to miss it.

This event is held in collaboration with WeAllGrow (weallgrowlatina.com).

Puerto Rican entrepreneur and NextAdvisor contributor Jannese Torres-Rodriguez sees her wealth as a way of lifting up other people. She became an accidental entrepreneur after an unexpected job loss led her to build her first side hustle, Delish D’lites, a food blog for Puerto Rican and Latin-inspired recipes. After realizing she didn't have to rely on a normal 9-to-5 for financial security, she expanded her income streams even further, became a certified financial education instructor, and began educating Latinas and people of color on topics like entrepreneurship, investing, and building generational wealth. That eventually led her to launch a personal finance podcast, “Yo Quiero Dinero.”
